Crystal Janvier-Romaniuk

Crystal is an accomplished Indigenous entrepreneur with over twelve years of experience as the CEO of Sundance Enterprises, specializing in Indigenous business consulting and industrial quality consulting. Hailing from Treaty Six territory in Alberta, she is proud of her Cree heritage, with her late mother from Driftpile First Nation and her late father from Cold Lake First Nations. As a dedicated mother of four, Crystal combines her personal and professional passions, advocating for fellow entrepreneurs and sharing her extensive business knowledge. She holds multiple degrees, including:

  • Bachelor of Arts (Honors), University of Alberta

  • Master of Science in Public Health

  • Executive Master of Business Administration, Simon Fraser University (SFU)

Her leadership has been recognized with the following awards:

  • Esquao Award for leadership in social development, 2009, Institute for the Advancement of Aboriginal Women

  • Community Impact Award for outstanding achievement, 2022, Beedie School of Business, SFU

Crystal has also been featured in media and print ads for the Alberta Women’s Entrepreneur organization, showcasing her commitment to uplifting her community.

Kelly Romaniuk

Business Consultant

Kelly Romaniuk is the Vice President of Sundance Enterprises and a steadfast ally for Indigenous communities, bringing over 25 years of experience in the oil and gas sector. His extensive expertise supports the company's mission while fostering strong relationships within the Indigenous business landscape. Kelly holds a Master of Business Administration from Queen's University and has numerous certifications that demonstrate his technical proficiency, including:

  • ASET - Certified Engineering Technologist

  • API - 510 Pressure Vessel Inspector

  • API - 1169 Pipeline Construction Inspector

  • ABSA - Welding Examiner

  • CWB - CSA W178.2 Level 3 Welding Inspector (B31.3, Z662 endorsements)

  • Interprovincial Journeyman Steamfitter-Pipefitter

  • ABSA Grade “B” Pressure Welders Certificate of Competency

  • Graduate of the Management Studies program, Grant MacEwan College
